Welcome to one of the most exciting, diverse and rapidly growing departments at the University of Mississippi. The Department of Nutrition and Hospitality is proud of high enrollments, sustainable student and faculty retention through a commitment to student advising and exemplary scholarship. We are passionate about our degrees at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Although our focus areas include nutrition/dietetics and hospitality management, within our three degrees (B.S. in Hospitality Management, B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics and M.S. in Food and Nutrition Services) are very exciting exposures in food/nutrition/health policy/food and health tourism/hospitality/ human development/ management/ science/consumer economics and business applications leading to an appealing choice of career paths. We also have three very active student organizations that attract scholarly and service minded students known for their creative approaches to service to the university and community. We are located in Lenoir Hall and offer applied approaches within our program to prepare students to be competitive in academic and occupational markets.
