Community Service & Engagement, February 27: Oxford Run for Hope 

OMASH members help the participants (runners) by providing drinks at water station #10, in front of Faulkner s house. The race raises money to enable children with diabetes to attend a summer camp.

Hospitality Speaker Series

OMASH hosts a series of speakers from the hospitality industry so students can hear from hospitality industry leaders.  It is planned to have two speakers per semester.

Chef Throwdown, April 14

OMASH s bi-annual fundraiser.  Chef Throwdown is a cooking competition for Ole Miss students. Location: TBA.

Department Involvement

Double Decker, April 24

OMASH members help OCVB (Oxford Convention and Visitors Bureau) to attract more tourists and to make a better community. This research project is collaborated with Dr. Kim s (Advisor of OMASH) research team.

Membership Training (MT) Trip

Memphis, TN, April 30 May 1

OMASH members travel together and stay over-night. During this trip, members participate in a tour of the property, hear lectures, and engage in discussions with hospitality industry leaders.
