Curriculum and Course Descriptions

The goal of the University of Mississippi online Master of Science program in Hospitality Management is to prepare scholars and experienced (middle management level) practitioners to advancement of knowledge as it relates to research, education, and operations in hospitality management.  The master’s program aims to provide potential scholars and experienced practitioners with an opportunity to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of study and the profession in order to develop more effective research and operational practices, and to qualify for leadership positions in teaching, research, hospitality management, and administration. The program does not have any concentrations, emphases, options, specializations, or tracks. In addition to the curriculum below, students will be required to complete a portfolio in this degree program. See “policies and forms” for further details on the portfolio.
