Hospitality Management Curriculum

For new Hospitality Management majors beginning in Fall 2018, a minimum of 120 hours is needed for graduation from the program. The Hospitality Management degree consists of 34-35 hours of general education courses, 30 hours of support courses, 49 hours of professional Hospitality Management core courses, and 9 hours of Hospitality Management electives or 12 hours of Hospitality Management electives in a chosen emphasis area to bring the total minimum number of hours to 120. Course requirements may change, so students should meet regularly with the department’s academic advising coordinator (Ms. Tameka Johnson).

Students who are declared Hospitality Management major prior to Fall 2018 can remain under the 2011 degree plan OR switch to the 2018 degree plan. Any questions you may have about the two degree plans should be discussed with the department’s academic advising coordinator (Ms. Tameka Johnson).
