Nutrition and Hospitality Management Welcomes Students to Fall Semester

Monday, August 15th, 2014 – The Nutrition and Hospitality Management department began the new school year with a student reception. A number of  students attended the event at Lenoir Hall, meeting faculty, staff, and peers.

The event was a wonderful start to a great 2014-2015 year!

The Department of Nutrition and Hospitality Management (NHM) is one of the fastest growing academic units at the University of Mississippi. Currently, more than 400 students are pursing degrees within the department. The faculty is committed to making a difference in the lives of our students, and to improving the quality of life for all, especially the citizens of the Lafayette-Oxford-University and Mississippi communities. Selected research topics addressed by NHM faculty and students include child nutrition, weight control, sports nutrition, nutrition epidemiology, food environment, food assistance programs, health and welfare, service management, hospitality finance, hospitality marketing, and food tourism.
