ServSafe® Seminar

The UM Nutrition Clinic and the Department of Nutrition and Hospitality Management offer ServSafe® Seminars to the public.

ServSafe® Food Protection Manager Certification is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-Conference for Food Protection (CFP). More than 3 million ServSafe® Food Protection Manager certifications have been awarded to date. This certification is important for businesses handling any food items because the Mississippi Food Code requires that each organization has at least one certified food safety manager employed full-time, obtaining the ServSafe® certification satisfies this requirement.
